The seat has been recovered. All I'm waiting for is the headlight, mirrors, and luggage rack. I had to return the mirrors because they were defective. I'm not putting saddlebags on. Found a luggage rack that won't ruin the look of the bike (at least not too much). Not anymore than saddlebags would. I have to have something to carry stuff around in. I'm going to bungee to the rack when I need to carry stuff. I also had Savage painted above the gas cap. Looks pretty cool. Pictures should be coming soon. Hope to sign up at a motorcycle show if it doesn't rain on Sunday. Too bad I don't have the headlight and mirrors. I have to bring before pictures because not too many people know what a Savage is around here.
Rider magazine has an article on chrome and customizing. They also will be coming out with a magazine called "Women Riders". Will have lots of stuff for us "girls".
